Poppyseed Noodles

 
3/4 lb broad noodles
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c ground poppyseed
4 tbsp melted butter
grated rind of 1 lemon (optional)

Cook noodles in salted water till soft.  Drain well.  Add butter and stir.  Mix sugar, poppyseed and lemon rind and sprinkle over the top.  Stir well with a fork and serve immediately.
